Tiffany & Co. greets fall with striking new handbags and accessories that are equal parts style and innovation. Designers Richard Lambertson and John Truex have created a masterful mix of shapes and textures in colors of true sophistication.
“We selected a range of deep, burnished colors that reflect the richness of fall fashion,” said Richard Lambertson. “These colors beautifully complement the new forms and materials that we’ve developed,” added John Truex.
The varied silhouettes and fabrications make for a collection of many options. Among the more structured are the Sloane—slender like an envelope, replete with pockets and finished with a twist top handle—and the clean-lined Harriet satchel of haircalf and leather in Florentine blue and plum. Size and style combine in the Beatrice top handle bag, a luxe blend of crocodile, ostrich and shearling in espresso; and the Hannah tote, featuring soft folds of onyx leather with spiral rings inspired by Tiffany’s Twist jewelry collection, and anchoring wide, comfortable straps.
The Amelia tote figures prominently in camel leopard print haircalf, or assumes a classic look and feel in plush espresso suede with patent leather trim. Similarly, the Esme top handle bag—a go-to bag of perfect proportions, with buckle strap and topstitching—conveys a cool confidence in midnight leopard haircalf, or brightly gleams in gold metallic leather with cognac leather trim.
The designers continue to explore the clutch as an important accessory. The Sabrina evening clutch is constructed with a sleek metal frame and glazed crocodile, smooth leather or metallic leather in brilliant colors including Tiffany Blue®, bronze, graphite, indigo and antique silver. The Daphne clutch is perfectly contoured with smooth or metallic leather in three harmonious shades of gold or platinum. These elegant curves also distinguish the Sydney frame satchel in subtle shades of gray.
The collection’s accessories—continental wallet with fold-over flaps or zippers, wrist pochette and card cases—function alone or tuck inside a handbag. They are cleverly designed with a place for everything and shine in metallic gold, silver, leopard or zigzag haircalf, as well as ostrich and grain leather.
