Tiffany & Co. unveiled the windows of its iconic Fifth Avenue flagship store on March 9, featuring the work of five 2017 Whitney Biennial artists. In this unprecedented partnership, the curators of the 2017 Whitney Biennial, Mia Locks and Christopher Y. Lew, handpicked five artists who collaborated with Tiffany master craftsmen on special artist edition products. Tiffany & Co. further commissioned each artist to create unique site-specific window environments to display the editions. Each of the artists—Harold Mendez, Ajay Kurian, Raúl de Nieves, Carrie Moyer and Shara Hughes—embraced this opportunity to expand their practices and experiment with new materials.
