The Tiffany & Co. Foundation Surpasses its $100 Million Dollar Grantmaking Milestone

NEW YORK, NY—Today, The Tiffany & Co. Foundation announces that it has awarded over $100 million since its inception to support the world’s most treasured seascapes and landscapes. For more than two decades, The Tiffany & Co. Foundation has supported leading organizations around the world that meaningfully benefit communities and the planet. As the Foundation enters its third decade, it remains committed to protecting the earth’s precious places for generations to come.

The Tiffany & Co. Foundation is pleased to highlight a selection of impact and successes around the world:

  • Ocean Protection: The Foundation has supported the creation and implementation of over 30 Marine Protected Areas, protecting more than 11 million square kilometers (equivalent to the size of the United States) across the world’s five oceans. This work illustrates the Foundations commitment to advancing the global movement to protect 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030 and is in line with the recent United Nations’ historic treaty to protect ocean life, signed by more than 190 member nations on March 4, 2023. Grant recipients include Conservation International, Wildlife Conservation Society and Oceans 5.
  • Safeguarding Coral Reefs: The Foundation has supported the protection and promotion of coral reefs in over 30 countries around the world, with locations spanning from Hawaii to the Caribbean, Australia and the Coral Triangle. Grant recipients include The Great Barrier Reef Foundation, Coral Reef Alliance and The Nature Conservancy.
  • Landscapes Conservation: The Foundation has supported the clean-up of abandoned mines across the American West and has protected 10 million acres of ecologically rich and culturally significant lands. Grant recipients include Trout Unlimited, Clark Fork Coalition and the Conservation Lands Foundation. The Foundation has also been instrumental in the reclamation of abandoned diamond mines in Sierra Leone by supporting RESOLVE, which works with local communities to restore these lands for viable agricultural use through the Peace Diamonds Restoration Initiative.
