Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Sixteen Stone

Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Sixteen Stone is an expression of love’s nurturing forces.

Forming an ever-growing tapestry, the threads of love continue to hold. Taking inspiration from the cross-stitch, a symbol of strength that joins that which is held precious, Sixteen Stone is a reminder of each encounter, each promise and each accomplishment that make up our journeys.

A feat of ingenuity and technical artistry, Jean Schlumberger’s signature X motif is inspired by a sewing cross-stitch, creating the illusion of diamonds strung together by precious metal threads. Diamonds are hand set in pairs to maximize brilliance, with a round brilliant cut providing a striking contrast to the bold lines of the designer’s X motif, crafted in highly polished 18k yellow gold or platinum. The full collection features rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings that vary in stone count while staying true to the collection’s iconic motif.

Jean Schlumberger’s Sixteen Stone design was introduced in 1959 as a wedding ring. Inspired by his family’s roots as textile manufacturers in Alsace, France, Jean Schlumberger became renowned for his ability to transform precious metals into intricately woven ropes, tassels, ribbons and cross-stitches.
