Named after legendary NFL coach Vince Lombardi who led the Green Bay Packers to victories in the first two Super Bowl games, the 22-inch, seven-pound Vince Lombardi Trophy exemplifies the House’s legacy of exceptional craftsmanship. Molded, shaped, and carved of sterling silver at Tiffany’s Cumberland, Rhode Island hollowware workshop over the course of four months, the iconic trophy features an NFL regulation-sized football that sits atop an expanded three-sided kicking tee.

For the Super Bowl® halftime show, Tiffany & Co. wardrobed music artist, songwriter, and record producer Kendrick Lamar in Tiffany Victoria® diamond necklaces and earrings, Tiffany HardWear, and Elsa Peretti® bracelets, Three Patriotic Clips from the Tiffany & Co. Archives, a Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger® Maltese Cross clip, and Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger® and Tiffany T diamond rings. Lamar shared the big stage alongside Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dogg.

The jeweler also wardrobed Odell Beckham Jr., American football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams in a Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger® Bird on a Rock brooch in platinum and 18k yellow gold with a citrine of over 53 carats, a pink sapphire, and diamonds.

Tiffany & Co. Debuts This Year’s Vince Lombardi Trophy for Super Bowl® LVI, Marking the Trophy’s 55th Year in Production at Tiffany’s Legendary Hollowware Workshop

NEW YORK, NY —Tiffany & Co. announces today that its iconic Vince Lombardi Trophy will be presented at the conclusion of Super Bowl® LVI, marking the 55th consecutive year that its craftspeople have created the trophy. A testament to the inimitable technical skill and artistry of Tiffany’s craftsmanship, the Vince Lombardi Trophy—as with all the House’s renowned sports trophies—is a work of art that not only symbolizes the very best in athletic achievement, but also Tiffany’s creativity and legendary savoir-faire.

First designed and handcrafted by Tiffany & Co. for the inaugural Super Bowl® I in 1967, the Vince Lombardi Trophy symbolizes the pinnacle of gridiron glory. Three years after it was introduced, in 1970, the trophy was renamed after the late Green Bay Packers coach, Lombardi, who led the Packers to victory in the first two Super Bowls. It was initially designed by Oscar Riedener, a former Vice President at Tiffany & Co., who sketched the basic design on a napkin during a 1966 meeting with then-NFL® commissioner, Pete Rozelle. The design features a regulation-size football in kicking position.

Tiffany & Co. entrusts the design to its most accomplished artisans, who bring the trophy to life over a course of approximately four months (a total of 72 hours of labor). These master craftspeople combine time-honored techniques with cutting-edge innovations, from spinning, silversmithing and chasing to hand engraving and polishing, to craft the seven-pound, 22-inch sterling silver trophy. They handcraft the Vince Lombardi trophy and over 65 other trophies each year at the Tiffany & Co. hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

In total, Tiffany & Co. designs and handcrafts five football trophies. The House created its first football trophy in 1959, the MacArthur Bowl, honoring General Douglas MacArthur. Still presented today, the trophy is awarded to the best college football team of each year. Moreover, since Super Bowl® XXV in 1991, Tiffany & Co. has created the Pete Rozelle Super Bowl® MVP Trophy, which was redesigned in 2012, and since 2011, the jeweler has created the George S. Halas Trophy for the National Football Conference (NFC) and the Lamar Hunt Trophy for the American Football Conference (AFC).

Tiffany’s legendary Vince Lombardi Trophy will be presented at Super Bowl® LVI on February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Tiffany & Co. Releases Advent Calendar Celebrating Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Equals Pi as seen in the ‘About Love’ Campaign

NEW YORK, NY — Tiffany & Co.’s new Advent Calendar pays homage to the rebellious creativity and spirit of its founding city, New York. This year’s Advent Calendar unites the iconic American jeweler with one of the most influential American artists of the 20th century, Jean-Michel Basquiat whose work was most recently featured in the House’s About Love campaign. Transforming the traditional holiday countdown into a canvas spotlighting the same masterpiece featured in About Love, Basquiat’s 1982 painting, Equals Pi* is the centerpiece of Tiffany’s latest Advent Calendar which will be available worldwide beginning today.

The design recalls a cabinet of curiosities, revealing 24 Blue Boxes filled with Tiffany jewelry and objects. Drawing inspiration from the visual language and subtexts of Basquiat’s style, the Advent Calendar is detailed with design elements that pay homage to his prolific body of work. In the early years of his career, Basquiat painted on everyday objects such as windows, doors and refrigerators, recontextualizing objects using cardboard, plywood and other materials. A tribute to the artist’s use of unconventional mediums, the doors on the four-foot white oak Advent Calendar are an apt canvas for Equals Pi. Composed of mathematical equations, text, figures, expressive gestures and symbols, the artwork exemplifies his raw yet methodological approach to his craft.

From creative collaborations to the House’s legendary Fifth Avenue flagship store windows, Tiffany’s heritage has been anchored in both the art world and New York City culture for over a century. As part of its ongoing efforts to bring art to more communities in its founding city, Tiffany & Co. is proud to announce a new partnership with Free Arts NYC. The House will donate $250,000 from purchases of the 2021 Advent Calendar to the organization and the funds will support a series of programs that will give children from underserved communities in New York City greater exposure to the creative arts. Additional details on this initiative will be forthcoming.

Tiffany & Co. has been leveraging its platform to support underrepresented communities and providing greater access to the creative arts, most recently with its About Love scholarship which provides scholarships for students attending select Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Tiffany & Co. is proud to continue celebrating art with these important partnerships and looks forward to future initiatives that will bring art to more communities.

Tiffany & Co. Debuts “Date Night” Bonus Film to Its “About Love” Campaign Starring Beyoncé and JAY-Z

NEW YORK, NY — Directed by Dikayl Rimmasch and second unit director Derek Milton, “Date Night “ is exquisite bonus content to accompany Tiffany’s About Love campaign, chronicling a night out with the Carters. The overarching About Love campaign explores the dimensionality of love, and the latest “Date Night” film shows us the playful side of the love story.

Set in New York City, “Date Night” is inspired by an iconic scene from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and begins with Beyoncé riding through Manhattan in the backseat of a Rolls Royce. With Paul Anka’s Put Your Head on My Shoulder and Bert Kaempfert’s Three O’ Clock In The Morning as the soundtracks to the car ride, Beyoncé plays a game of “he loves me, he loves me not” with a yellow daisy while sitting alongside JAY-Z. The couple takes in the city skyline, while sharing pizza and a glass of Armand de Brignac champagne.

During their night out, the Carters wear an assortment of incredible Jean Schlumberger pieces. Most notably, JAY-Z wears the legendary Bird on a Rock brooch. One of the 21st century’s most iconic designs, the piece features a platinum and 18k gold bird perched on a morganite gemstone of over 44 carats. Beyoncé also dons Schlumberger designs, including an Ailsa diamond ring of over 10 carats as well as a pair of Ribbon Fan earrings featuring diamonds of over 6 total carats. Jean Schlumberger was best known for dressing high society’s elite in the 1960s and ’70s, making it only appropriate that his unmistakable designs live out his legacy on two of today’s greatest creative forces.

Witty, whimsical and romantic, “Date Night” is the result of yet another close collaboration and shared vision between both the Carters and Tiffany & Co. While the About Love campaign premiere film was a story of longing and reunion, “Date Night” is a story that demonstrates the beauty and joy of everyday romance.

“Date Night “ launches globally on Tiffany & Co. platforms on October 19 at 7 AM EST. The campaign will further unfold later this year with additional bonus films created by acclaimed director Dikayl Rimmasch and second unit director Derek Milton. The “About Love” team includes wardrobe stylists June Ambrose and Marni Senofonte, hair stylists Jawara Wauchope and Nakia Rachon and makeup artist Sir John Barnett.

As a part of the House’s collaboration with the Carters, Tiffany & Co. has partnered with BeyGOOD and the Shawn Carter Foundation to create the Tiffany & Co. About Love Scholarship Program. Earlier this year, Tiffany & Co. pledged USD $2M in scholarship funding for students in the arts and creative fields at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). As of today, the Tiffany & Co. About Love Scholarship has been awarded to over 50 qualifying students at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, Norfolk State University in Virginia, Bennett College in North Carolina, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Central State University in Ohio.

Tiffany & Co. Presents Its Iconic Tennis Trophies at the 2021 US Open®

NEW YORK, NY — Tiffany & Co. is proud to present for the 34th year in a row its legendary US Open® Singles and Doubles Championship Trophies that the House first designed in 1987 and has handcrafted at its hollowware workshop ever since.

The elegant Singles Championship Trophy—awarded on Saturday, September 11 to Emma Raducanu—weighs 10 pounds and stands 18 inches in height. During her stellar performance, Raducanu wore Tiffany Victoria® earrings, Tiffany T1 bracelet and ring, and a Tiffany cross pendant.

Tiffany’s master artisans at its Cumberland, Rhode Island workshop employ age-old techniques such as spinning, silversmithing, chasing, hand engraving and polishing to create the trophy over a course of approximately six months for a total of 66 hours of labor. The league’s previous name, “The United States Lawn Tennis Association”—used from 1881 until 1975—and the full name of the US Open®, “The United States Open Tennis Championship” are both engraved on the front. The champions’ names are engraved on the back.

Tiffany also creates the US Open® Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles Bowl each year. Having debuted alongside the Single’s Championship Trophy in 1987, these legendary tennis trophies are each a sophisticated tribute to the tournament and illustrious symbols of Tiffany’s world-renowned craftsmanship.
